I _thoroughly_ enjoyed this! Despite a busy week I finished in no time at all, courtesy of the depth of thought and emotional richness to the theme underlying it all. I've not read anything else like it, and highly recommend! (I read the 2025 edition; and will migrate this review there, when that book exists!)
