<div>It was decent. Definitely better than the Jack Reacher books co-authored by Andrew and Lee Child. Probably won’t read another book from this series (especially the newer ones after “Night School”) because they seem to be degrading in quality. 💀<br><br>The “mystery” in this story was interesting but unlike the other books from around this one in the series, it’s extremely hard as a reader to figure out the mystery as it’s more an action book (with *lots* of fight scenes) until the main character, Jack Reacher, explains it to another character at the end.<br><br>The action sequences definitely weren’t as bad as “Better off Dead” or “No Plan B” as every action wasn’t being described by 5 word sentences.<br><br>4 out of 5 as it was good, but not great.</div>

<div>Never reading a book authored by Andrew Child if it’s in the action genre. It’s as if the action sequences were written by someone who was told “why use more word when few word do good”. And like a Goodreads review wrote, “Better off Unread” is probably a better book title for this.<br><br>1 out of 5 as it was bad, but Lee Child’s writing made it better in some non-action sequence parts.</div>
