A book I'll think about for a long time, but didn't find myself compelled to pick up and continue. I would certainly teach it if I taught my "edge cases of the human" class again, though - lots of very interesting "is _this_ a person?" cases in a way that emphasizes the continuity of non-neurotypical (in a very broad sense) consciousnesses. The spectrum of what a mind can be. Makes me want to reread _Shroud_. Good, on the whole.
